On Friday 23rd November our Year 6 pupils took on some of the staff roles within the school. This is part of National Take Over Day a national initiative where children are encouraged to experience the world of work. Year 6 pupils had to write application letters for the jobs and were then appointed. Year 6 pupils took on roles which included; acting as teachers, teaching assistants and Head teacher. The Year 6 pupils reported that the hardest part of being a teacher was getting the children to listen and having enough planned to keep the children busy. The two year 6 pupils who acted as Head Teachers brought National Take Over day to an end by leading a celebration assembly. We are very proud of all of our Year 6 pupils who showed so much maturity throughout the day. Well done and thank you for a super day.
