A very warm welcome to all of our Nursery children and their families, we hope that you have enjoyed your first few weeks in school as much as we have enjoyed getting to know you all. The children have all settled into their new routines very quickly which is always a good start and lovely for us to see.
On this page you will find photographs and information about things our Nursery children have done in school and events that may be coming up, as well as copies of all of our newsletters.
Please do not hesitate to come in and speak to any of our early years staff about anything you may be unsure of or need help with, we want your children to all feel happy and settled in their new school.

Sport Relief
Today we all came dressed in our sports clothes and participated in lost of fun sporty activities to help raise money towards sports relief!
World Book Day
We have all had a wonderful day celebrating again for world book day. The children all came dressed as their favourite book characters and they all looked fantastic! Each classroom had someone reading a story and the children all chose which book they wanted to listen to, which they all really enjoyed. They designed and coloured in their own bookmarks to take home and drew some amazing self portraits of themselves all dressed up!
Happy St. David’s Day.
Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Hapus!
Another busy day celebrating for the children. We have learnt all about Wales and why we celebrate St. David’s Day. We have made daffodil head bands, welsh dragon flags, built welsh castles with the building blocks, used lovely pastels to make beautiful welsh pictures and we have even planted our very own daffodils! We were also treated to a special snack today of Bara Brith which we all enjoyed, whilst listening to the story of Gelert the dog!
Pancake Day! Diwrnod Crempog!
The children have all had a fantastic day celebrating pancake day. They set up their very own “Pancake Cafe” and enjoyed laying the tables, serving their friends, and washing up their own dishes! We had lots of other activities going on, such as, pancake tossing with beanbags and rackets, pancake posters to colour in and some super craft pancakes were made too! What a busy day!
Chinese New Year
“Gong Hei Fat Choy”
Another celebration! Nursery have been busy with a variety of activities to celebrate Chinese New Year. Chinese snacks were very popular!!
We found out how families prepare the house and food at this special time. The children enjoyed taking part in a lion dance with Reception Class.
St. Dwynwyn’s Day.
‘Dydd Santes Dwynwen’
Nursery celebrated St. Dwynwen’s Day today. We watched a simple story and found out all about Dwynwen and her 3 wishes.
