Day two has been a very busy day! The children enjoyed a hot breakfast this morning before starting the first activity of the day. Half of year 5 spent the morning Gorge walking and the other half spent the the morning on the high ropes and zipwire. Miss Lewis' group spent the afternoon on a mountain walk around Cwm Idwal and Miss Gunther's group had their turn to get wet gorge walking.
We have been really challenged today to push ourselves outside of our comfort zone and made some fantastic memories. from losing a pair of wellies whilst gorge walking , whizzing down a zipwire or enjoying a hot chocolate while taking in the fantastic views of Cwm Idwal
The children all enjoyed a delicious meal of fish and chips and time to visit the tuck shop before our journey home tomorrow!
Nant BH
The children have had a lovely and very busy first day at Nant BH.
After tucking into some lunch the children took part in their first activity.
Miss Lewis' group really enjoyed the high ropes and zipwire, and Miss Gunther's group took a very fun but wet walk up a mountain.
After having some tea we then all got together to go on a night time walk around the site with our torches - luckily it stayed dry for us!
After having a hot chocolate the children then settled down in the pyjamas to watch a film before bed.
A group of pupils from Year 5 performed a traditional Welsh Country Dance as part of our KS2 St David's Day assembly. We also created our own art work in the style of Kyffin Williams the famous Welsh artist. Di iawn dosbarth 5.
Following on from our virtual assembly with members of staff from Airbus, Year 5 took on the ‘design a plane’ challenge. They used recycled items to design a prototype of a new, more sustainable, aircraft.

Pudsey Day for year 5, Jess raised money for Charity by selling Pudsey hats. Many children bought the hats and the hats were sooo good and fun to wear!!
A huge thank you to Jess and her family for providing the hats and helping us at Northop Hall raise money for Children in Need!
