REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE
Sorting out the recycling
We had a visit from Michael Recycle so we know what we should do!
Oh no! We found litter in our school.
We had a visit from The Creepy Crawly Show
Our sunflowers are growing so quickly! We can use our measuring skills to find out how tall they are.
We are very proud of our performers in Year 2 who took part in the whole school talent show!

We love learning about the coronation of King Charles III
Lenny the Letter came to visit us from the Royal Mail! We put our letter in a special bag to send to King Charles.

World Book Day
We had a great day celebrating how amazing books are. Our special book of the day was ‘The Day the Crayons Quit’ by Drew Daywalt. After we read all the letters from the crayons we thought about their different feelings. We even pretended to be one of the crayons and practised our character voices!

We enjoyed listening to classical musical with Year 4 to create our own pictures to a musical story. We had to listen carefully to the elements of music to help us with our pictures.

Year 2 are enjoying exploring Anthony Browne's books. They are fascinated by the illustrations!
Year 4 shared their work navigating through a tunnel with us. We learnt lots of new skills!
We have been working hard with Year 4 to make board games to help us practise our times tables.

We have been very creative in our maths this week! We made games to help Year 1 learn all about ordinal numbers. We have also been learning about instructions, so we had to make sure we gave Year 1 clear instructions about our games. We had a big thumbs up from Year 1 !
