Our Fathers Day Café
We invited our Dads, Grandads and carers to our Fathers Day cafe in school this morning. We had baked cakes and decorated special plates for our guests. Grown ups had a hot drink and a cake and we had squash and a cake. After that we did some colourings, games, jigsaws and shared books with our special guests. ❤️

On the bus to the garden centre!
At the garden centre: we planted seeds, we had a look at all the vegetables and herbs that grew and we learnt about the different insects that are important for plants. We then had our snack in the coffee shop and had a walk around outside.
We had 10 stars in the jar ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ our reward was a trip to the park!

Our dragon egg hatched! It flew off to be with its parents. They were so pleased we had looked after the egg that they left us a letter and a gift. The dragon is called Gwên which means smile in Welsh.

We had a performance this morning about the story of Mari Jones, the girl who saved all her money for years and walked 26 miles for a bible of her own.
Celebrating World Book Day

Dathlu Dydd Gwyl Dewi - Celebrating St David’s Day
We celebrated Dydd Miwsig Cymru by singing and dancing to some Welsh songs.
We found a mysterious large golden egg in the forest in a nest of leaves. We looked around the area to see if we could find any clues. We carefully put it in a basket and brought it inside because of the cold weather. We wondered what type of egg it could be. Our thoughts are that it could be an ostrich, dinosaur, dragon, golden goose or even a chocolate egg! We looked at these types of eggs on the internet and we think it could be a dragon's egg.
