Thursday 14th March
Today some of the year 5 and 6 girls went to a tag rugby festival at mold rugby club. We won every game except one where we lost 6-5, We really enjoyed the games! We had so much fun competing with other schools. Some of the schools were really good and they were really fast. We ran super-fast for the try line and the other teams were really good! Overall, we would go again.

In maths we have been learning about division and the bus stop method which has been the hardest method in yr5 so far. We use partitioning methods to break the number up to help us with our written method for division. We are trying to use bar modelling to help us visualise problems we are trying to solve. See some examples below.
