We are delighted to have been awarded the Bronze Cymraeg Campus Award. This is a Welsh Government framework which is designed to inspire pupils to use Welsh language and develop their knowledge of the Welsh culture. Assessors visited the school and we are delighted that we were able to show strong evidence of well embedded practice across all areas of the award criteria areas. We were praised for the strong positive Cymraeg ethos across the school.
Our Criw Iath lead Cymraeg Gwasaneth (Welsh assembly) every two weeks. In the photograph below are a number of pupils who were awarded the Patrwm y Pythefnos (The fortnightly pattern) for trying to use a Welsh phrase which has been taught. Some of our Criw Iath members are also in the photograph. Gwaith ffantastig pawb! Llongyfarchiadau Ysgol Northop Hall! Newyddion gwych! Congratulations Northop Hall School! Great news!
