We are doing a 5 week young leader's course, we had to rearrange tiles to form words, the longest word won, we also had to cross from 1 side to another and back, it was really fun! The course is trying to teach us skills like resilience, good listening and teamwork!

Year 5’s went to Chester Zoo, here are some pictures of our Rainforest workshop! When we were in the workshop we had some fun activities to do which include finding skulls of animals and finding what comes from the rainforest and the Year 5's had a great time looking at the animals!

We had a Creepy Crawly show come to our class because we are doing a Rainforest Inquiry Project. Some of the animals we saw were: corn snake, millipede, crescent gecko, baby boa constrictor, hissing cockroach, black scorpion, tarantula, stick insect. It was amazing that everybody got the chance to touch or hold every animal! Miss Mantache even had a gecko on her head and Mr Roberts had a snake around his neck - we think he was scared 😳
The Girls’ football team had a great day competing and playing lots of games at Deeside leisure centre last week. They won 3, drew 1 and lost 2 which was amazing being one of the smaller schools - Well done girls! Congratulations to Mynydd Isa who went on to be the 2023 Champions.
