Welcome to Nursery
Croeso i Feithrin
A very warm welcome to all our Nursery children and their families. This is where you will be able to find class newsletters, photographs, announcements and other important information about Nursery.
We had a costume day to celebrate the end of term. We wore a costume or our favourite clothes. We all had an ice cream!
We had PE with Steve and Josh from Wrexham FC on the big yard. We played 2 games, in one game we had to collect bean bags and see who had the most! We had great fun.
A walk to explore our sense of touch.
A walk to explore our senses
Nursery went on a nature walk today to explore their senses to see what they could see hear and smell up on our school field. They came up with some wonderful suggestions 💡 ⭐️

WORLD BOOK DAY
We celebrated World Book Day today. Everyone came to school dressed as their favourite character from a book or as a crayon from the story The Day The Crayons Quit by Oliver Jeffers. We made up our own stories in the story tray and shared a book with a partner in Reception.
Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Sant
We celebrated St David’s Day today. Everyone wore the colours of the Welsh flag or traditional Welsh costumes. We made dragon pictures and at the end of the day we shared some Welsh songs with our families.
🏴 We celebrated Dydd Miswig Cymraeg - Welsh language music day. We listened to some songs in Welsh and joined in with ‘Pen, ysgwyddau, coesau, traed!’ 🏴

W/c 24th October - Pumpkins and Yellow!
We have had another busy week in Nursery. Our colour this week was yellow and we went on a yellow hunt. We have been singing Autumn songs, we collected leaves for leaf rubbings and we made a pumpkin.
W/c 17th October: This week (and a few from last week) in Nursery. We have been exploring the acorns, conkers and ‘helicopters’ in the autumn tray, playing in the oats instead of sand, using the iPads to colour autumn leaves, making pumpkins in dough, painting autumn trees and threading conkers onto a string!
We went on an Autumn walk with a Reception partner and collected acorns, helicopters and Autumn leaves. 🍁🍂🍃🍁
We went on a blue hunt. Look what we found!
We made porridge today!
We have been reading the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Today we followed a recipe and made porridge just like the bears eat. It wasn’t too hot or too cold. It was just right.
We went on a red hunt. Look what we found.
This week we played in the “big outside” area with the bikes, scooters and large construction.
