Croeso/Welcome!
It is a great pleasure to welcome you to Northop Hall CP School where you will find a hard working environment where children enjoy learning and strive to do their best. Our staff are talented and dedicated people who work extremely hard to ensure all children reach their full potential and leave Northop Hall as rounded individuals. Parents and Governors work in partnership with us to provide a lively, stimulating and caring environment. Together we teach children new skills and develop their knowledge, using the latest technology and in ways that are fun. Please look at the Videos in the Parent section or follow the link: Welcome Videos | Northop Hall C.P. School
Northop Hall is a village school set in beautiful grounds with an extensive outdoor environment to play and explore, which includes a Forest School site and an enclosed outdoor area for our Early Years children. We encourage our children to learn outdoors, building in problem-solving activities at every opportunity.
We enjoy strong links with other schools in our local consortium and pupils have many opportunities to work on a wide range of activities with pupils from the other five schools in the Hawarden cluster. The school also participates in a wide range of local and county sporting and creative events and we a particularly good success record for athletics and cross country.
Northop Hall was last inspected in September 2014 and we were very pleased to be judged as 'Good'. We are a growing school and pupil numbers have increased from 136 on roll in March 2012 to 203 in September 2017. The increase in number of pupils now means that we have 7 separate classes some of which are at the full capacity of 30 pupils. The size of our school means that all pupils know each other well and work in a cooperative supportive manner. We have very high expectations of all our pupils, both in their work and behaviour.
I hope you find our website useful and informative. It is intended to keep our existing families up to date with what's happening in school and to give prospective families a taste of Northop Hall life.
At Northop Hall we place children at the centre of all we do and each child is valued and treated as an individual. We look forward to being part of your child's development and we hope that you and your child will enjoy a happy and fulfilling time at Northop Hall School.
