Year 3 and 4 Transition Project - July 2018
Year 3 and Year 4 are working together to produce a guide to health for potential footballers. They are using a range of skills learned throughout the year and consolidating their learning in our World Cup topic.
Gingerbread
The children have worked hard all week to bake and decorate gingerbread people and trees to sell at the Christmas fair. We raised £108!! We will put the money towards something extra for our class next year. Thank you to all the children, parents, grandparents and former pupils who came and bought our delicious gingerbread. An extra thanks to my two helpers who ran the stall very professionally.
Spaceport Trip
We had a wonderful time on our trip. The children thoroughly explored the planets exhibits before having a ride on a rocket simulator. We watched a film about finding life in the universe - it was very interesting. After lunch, we looked at the Star Wars displays and played the interactive games about helping the environment. The light bulb game was quite tricky! Finally, we got to launch rockets and some of them hit the ceiling! It was a very enjoyable visit.
Thank you for supporting our cake sale to raise money towards the trip - we had over £90 to take off the overall cost.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
