All of the children in KS2, from Year 3 to Year 6, have been developing their coding and programming skills over the last couple of days. Thanks to a grant from the Joyce Hatton Trust, we were lucky enough to have some expert input, from Arwel Williams of TechnoEd, to teach the children to write code using the 2Code programme in Purple Mash and also using LOGO in Year 6.
The children had a great time, learned new skills very quickly and have now taken their first steps to be budding computer programmers of the future.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
