Today has been National Takeover Day, which is when the Year 6 pupils 'take over' the School and become Headteachers, Teachers and Teaching Assistants.
Today has been a challenging day so far for all the Year 6s but it has been a really good experience. It is brilliant fun to see how a teacher works and how much they have to do. We have been asking some of the children how the are feeling about Takeover Day.
'It's been really good fun having the Year 6 teaching us.'
We have both enjoyed being Headteachers because we have prepared certificates, interviewed teachers and children to see how the day went and updated news on the website.
More news about the day will appear on the Year 6 Class pages.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
