We all enjoyed listening to one of our Year 6 pupils playing the guitar in assembly today. Such a lovely way to end this half term.

We are immensely proud of three of our pupils who took part in a fundraising activity as part of the Captain Tom 100 challenge. AM (Year 6), JD (Year 6) and HM (Year 2) spent time on Saturday collecting items from Northop Hall residents for the Deeside Crisis Centre. The pupils decided to set themselves the challenge of collecting 100 items which could either be a food donation or a £1 coin.
I am sure that many of you will have spotted the children pulling a small cart through the village on Saturday, despite the heavy rain. The fundraising activity was a great success with a large number of food donations plus £62 in money being raised.
Well done to the three pupils and thank you to any parents who made donations to this worthy cause and encouraged the children as they completed their fundraising at the weekend.
Photographs show the three children delivering the donated items to the Crisis Centre where they were presented with certificates by Cllr Bernie Attridge and also a photograph of AM (year 6) pulling his cart through the rain.......what great perseverance this shows!
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
