National Take Over Day
Fri 30 Nov 2018On Friday 23rd November our Year 6 pupils took on some of the staff roles within the school. This is part of National Take Over Day a national initiative where children are encouraged to experience the world of work. Year 6 pupils had to write application letters for the jobs and were then appointed. Year 6 pupils took on roles which included; acting as teachers, teaching assistants and Head teacher. The Year 6 pupils reported that the hardest part of being a teacher was getting the children to listen and having enough planned to keep the children busy. The two year 6 pupils who acted as Head Teachers brought National Take Over day to an end by leading a celebration assembly. We are very proud of all of our Year 6 pupils who showed so much maturity throughout the day. Well done and thank you for a super day.

Children In Need
Fri 23 Nov 2018Huge thank you to everyone who supported our Children in Need Celebrations last Friday. The talent contest was great fun with a wonderful range of acts. We really have got so many talented pupils at Northop Hall. Parents baked some wonderful cakes for our after school cake stall. A delighted Year 3 pupil won the Children in Need Teddy raffle. Our grand total raised for Children in Need was £67.14.

Atlhetics
Fri 23 Nov 2018An amazing result for our athletics team at last week's indoor competition. Medals and certificates are on their way. 1st place in the Mold and Buckley small schools' event. Well done to your all for giving 100% effort.

Remembrance
Mon 12 Nov 2018I would like to say thank you to our Year 6 pupils for representing Northop Hall School at the remembrance service at the Church and the cenotaph on Friday.I would also like to thank the pupils who attended the remembrance event held at the Pavilion on Friday afternoon. All of the children behaved impeccably and read out their poems clearly. We have received lovely feedback from people who attended these events about how well the children conducted themselves.
I would also like to thank all of the pupils for their contribution towards the wonderful School Poppy Display and to all the staff who have been involved in putting this display together. I am sure that you will agree it looks beautiful.
