Keep up to date with all the latest news in school and on the website.
As part of our Health & Well-being week we held an Online Safety session for Parents this evening. Thank you to those of you who attended to hear the important and valuable messages.
The NSPPC speaker was great and provided some very useful advice and strategies for helping your child stay safe online. There were several leaflets given to parents and website links with a range of resources to use were provided.
If you visit our Parents section and look at the Online Safety page you can find links to the leaflets and the NSPCC website, which is full of ideas and resources.
What an action packed day and evening we have had! After arriving and completing the 'make the bed' challenge, where only one or two children got lost inside the duvet cover, we ate a cooked lunch and collected our kit.
Activities this afternoon included Gorge Walking and tackling the High Ropes Course. Waterfalls, rock slides, deep pools and rock walks were fun and challenging in the gorge. Climbing up high walls and pillars the challenge for the climbing group.
This evening we worked in pairs to guide a blindfolded partner around a course full of obstacles. A communication challenge and it was rather wet too!
Everyone overcame some fears today and we all had great fun!
More news tomorrow night as we are off to bed now, getting ourselves 'plenty of sleep' ready for tomorrow's activities.
We're having trouble uploading photos but hopefully can resolve this later.
Welcome to a new school year at Northop Hall CP School. We hope you have had a fun and enjoyable summer break and are raring to get back to school.
We have another very busy year ahead and many exciting things planned. Keep an eye out for Newsletters, both whole school and from individual classes. Our website will have the Calendar updated as soon as we can confirm dates and we will continue to keep in touch with you via School Comms emails, which has been a very successful method of providing timely updates.
We look forward to having a chance to catch up with as many of you as possible at the upcoming class meetings during these first few weeks. In the meantime please do make an appointment to see us if you have any urgent questions or concerns.
